How Can We Treat Dark Circles?

Whether your eyes have dark circles underneath them or they have become very baggy and full of wrinkles, we have a treatment that just fits your needs. Using an injectable substance such as a dermal filler, volume under the eyes can be restored and the dark circles and bags reduced so you look fresh and rejuvenated. No more tired-looking eyes.

Not exclusively a result of ageing, dark under-eye hallows can be a sign or symptom of genetics, lack of sleep, tiredness and dehydrated skin. Dermal fillers resolve this common complaint by administering exact quantities of a cosmetic filler directly into the treatment area. Containing hyaluronic acid, the tear trough injections effectively and instantaneously refresh the area, restoring volume and camouflaging dark shadows. Downtime is minimal and the result is almost instant. You need a couple of hours for the mild swelling of the injection to subside to notice the difference.

Treatment step-by-step

Step 1: Consultation

Aesthetics Lab will always put your health and wellbeing first. At your initial consultation for tear through dermal fillers, we will look through your medical history to be sure there are no possible contraindications. Your specialist cosmetic doctor will then indicate the exact amount of filler required for your procedure, along with associated costs. Your consultation provides an excellent opportunity to ask us any pressing questions. We will always answer with integrity.

Step 2: During your treatment

Once you are comfortable in our calming treatment room, your experienced cosmetic doctor will carefully administer the dermal fillers via injection, into your areas of concern.

Step 3: After the treatment

Following your treatment, you will likely notice some swelling, which should subside within an hour. Some clients also experience slight bruising; however, this is very uncommon. To minimise the risk of infection, avoid wearing makeup and partaking in physical exercise for 24 hours after your appointment.

Frequently asked questions

How long will the results last?

On average, we advise that tear trough dermal filler results will last for up to 12 months. This varies for each individual, usually lasting between nine and 18 months.

Is there any aftercare needed?

We advise not to apply any make-up or do any exercise on the day but other than that no aftercare is needed.

How much does tear trough fillers cost?

Most clinics quote a generic starting fee for treating dark circles. However, depending on your case, the amount of filler used can vary considerably. This and the total number of injections needed will determine the final price.

For an accurate estimation, it is best to visit us for a personal no-obligation professional consultation. This is where everything will be explained in detail and your case can be assessed individually.

Can I wear makeup after my appointment?

After tear trough dermal filler procedures, we advise keeping the skin clear of makeup in the 24 hours following your appointment to reduce the risk of infection. You should also avoid exercise during this period.
