What is Vampire Facial PRP?
The Aesthetics Lab Vampire Facial PRP protocol takes all the benefits of microneedling – a treatment that triggers your skin’s innate healing processes to create more collagen and elastin – and supercharges them with concentrated platelets and growth factors taken from your own blood (this is known as platelet-rich plasma or PRP).
PRP naturally contributes to skin elasticity, firmness and a smoother texture. With this treatment, we’re able to harness its extraordinary regenerative abilities to tackle issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, acne scarring, and the early signs of skin ageing.
Intense collagen production for firmer skin
Our unique Vampire Facial PRP protocol – exclusive to Aesthetics Lab – has been specially formulated to enhance the results of traditional PRP and trigger intense collagen production.
When PRP is massaged into your skin following microneedling, it is better absorbed through the microchannels, reaching deeper and more evenly into the dermis for optimal rejuvenation.
We complete the Vampire Facial PRP with a moisturising hyaluronic mask and LED Light Therapy. Both of these treatments are also known to help your skin look fresh, evenly toned and much brighter.

Step 1: Consultation
Before your Vampire Facial PRP treatment, we’ll talk to you about your skin health and medical history and carry out a thorough skin assessment. This is an opportunity to discuss the issues you would like to address in depth.
We will take a sample of your blood from your arm (this is done in the same way as having blood drawn by a nurse or GP). This is placed in a cutting-edge centrifuge machine called the Cellenis PR to separate the highest possible concentration of platelets (the PRP cells with those amazing restorative abilities) from your red blood cells.
Step 2: During your treatment
The procedure begins with microneedling, which creates hundreds of tiny channels into the deeper layers of your skin. Next, we massage your PRP into the treatment area. The microneedling ensures that the regenerative serum is able to penetrate under the surface to speed up the healing process, make new collagen and strengthen your connective tissues. As a result, you should notice your skin looking tighter, brighter and rejuvenated for up to 12 months.
Step 3: After the treatment
As part of our unique Intensive Collagen Induction protocol, your Vampire Facial PRP treatment will end with a soothing hyaluronic mask and collagen-boosting LED light therapy that will further hydrate, plump and strengthen your skin.
It’s normal to experience some redness and tenderness in the treated area. This usually fades significantly within an hour, but you may notice some slight redness for a couple of days post-treatment.
Is PRP treatment safe?
PRP has many medical and aesthetic applications including skin regeneration, healing sports injuries, hair growth and more. It has an excellent safety record because it uses your own blood cells, minimising the risk of a negative reaction.
