How do Ellanse fillers work?

Ellanse fillers work over two stages. They contain smooth microspheres that when evenly distributed within a carrier gel can fill desired areas and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The skin becomes more plumped up while also being rejuvenated. Once inside your body, the filler will be naturally broken down into carbon dioxide and water and then eliminated without leaving a trace.

This leads to the second stage of Ellanse fillers. Thanks to the formulation of Ellanse fillers, your skin is benefitting even after the initial filler has been injected. In the months following your treatment, the ingredients within the filler will continue to work helping your skin improve. Step 1: Consultation

You’ll be asked to come to our aesthetics clinics in Belgravia or Primrose Hill for an initial consultation. During this appointment, we’ll take a complete medical history and find out as much as possible about your treatment goals. We’ll also explain a bit more about the patented science behind Profhilo and what you can expect from this treatment. Please feel free to ask lots of questions – we will always give you an honest answer.

Step 2: During your treatment

Your Ellanse filler will be administered by one of top medical aesthetic professionals, our Resident Doctor or Nurse.

It is a comfortable treatment where precise amounts of Ellanse filler will be injected into targeted area to lift and sculpt your face.

Step 3: After the treatment

Following a treatment session, you may experience some swelling and redness. It is best to avoid any exercise or heat exposure the day od the treatment.

Is Ellanse treatment painful?

No, Ellanse is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Your practitioner will use an ultra-fine needle, and in some areas, a numbing cream may be applied to ensure extra comfort during the treatment.

What is Ellanse made of?

Ellanse is an injectable collagen-stimulating filler made from polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a water-based gel carrier. The gel provides an immediate volumising effect, while the PCL microspheres stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production over time. As the carrier gel is naturally absorbed, the newly produced collagen helps maintain the treated area’s volume, structure and definition.

  I recently had a facial at Aesthetics Lab, and I can say that without a doubt it was the best treatment I have ever received. From the consultation which was very thorough, in which we discussed each of my concerns in depth, to the facial itself, which was incredible. I have had many facials in the past and none of them have been of this high standard. I was then recommended some products which I purchased from the clinic and have been using ever since.   Emma and the aesthetics lab team are INCREDIBLE! I very rarely write reviews, but I am so happy with my experience with Emma, that I have to! I have recently been trying to explore how to optimise my skin. This is all new to me, so I was a bit hesitant and unsure going into the process. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at a different clinic with a facial-gone-wrong, and am dealing with ongoing acne as a result. Carolyn helped me with my initial consultation. She was very welcoming and empathetic to my situation, making me feel very comfortable. I had my first session the same day with Emma. I did a light treatment and the experience was fantastic. Emma immediately made me feel comfortable. She understood the concerns and hesitations that I had and was very patient answering my many questions. I felt very calm and could tell how experienced she was. I had such a great experience that I booked again and came back for my second treatment with Emma that same week. This time I got a hydra facial. It was again, a fantastic experience.   I have recently finished a course of Laser Hair Removal with Aesthetics Lab and could not recommend it enough , from the moment I walked in the staff were so welcoming and professional. The clinic itself is accessible, modern and exceptionally clean.

I had 6 sessions targeting under my arms and legs which was painless and really effective with no redness or rashes which I have previously experienced when waxing, my only regret is I didn't visit sooner!!
