What Is PRP Treatment?

PRP treatment works by processing a small sample of your blood (taken from your arm) through a centrifuge machine, which separates the blood into two layers. The red blood cells move to the bottom, while the plasma, which is full of protein and growth factors, rises to the top. Step 1: Consultation

Your health and wellbeing come first at Aesthetics Lab. During your initial PRP Intensive Collagen Induction Therapy consultation, we will talk through your medical history to be sure there are no contraindications. We will then fully assess your skin and your skincare routine, as to suitably tailor your treatment. This is a great time to ask us any questions. We always answer openly, with honesty.

Step 2: During your treatment

Once you are at ease in one of our tranquil treatment rooms, we will take a sample of your blood. This will be processed in a specialised machine to obtain Platelet Rich Plasma. The procedure begins with micro-needling, which creates hundreds of micro channels in the skin. PRP is then massaged into this treatment area. During the final stage of the procedure, a hyaluronic mask will be applied, as you relax under the healing LED lights.

Step 3: After the treatment

  I recently had a facial at Aesthetics Lab, and I can say that without a doubt it was the best treatment I have ever received. From the consultation which was very thorough, in which we discussed each of my concerns in depth, to the facial itself, which was incredible. I have had many facials in the past and none of them have been of this high standard. I was then recommended some products which I purchased from the clinic and have been using ever since.   Emma and the aesthetics lab team are INCREDIBLE! I very rarely write reviews, but I am so happy with my experience with Emma, that I have to! I have recently been trying to explore how to optimise my skin. This is all new to me, so I was a bit hesitant and unsure going into the process.   I have recently finished a course of Laser Hair Removal with Aesthetics Lab and could not recommend it enough , from the moment I walked in the staff were so welcoming and professional. The clinic itself is accessible, modern and exceptionally clean.
