As you’ve hopefully experienced for yourself, we’re passionate about skincare here at Aesthetic Lab in Primrose Hill and spent a great deal of time researching the medical skincare/cosmeceuticals lines we wanted to use and provide for at-home use before we launched the clinic. Naturally, we’ll keep exploring the product ranges that we think are best for your skin so that you can always rely on our recommendations.

DermaQuest

The DermaQuest range offers the most advanced skincare formulas currently available. All of the products are focused on improving the health of your skin and can significantly improve the appearance of acne, dark spots and hyperpigmentation, as well as fine lines and wrinkles, and redness. DermaQuest is excellent if you have sensitive skin.

We love DermaQuest because the products take a preventative approach and will help protect your skin from sun damage. They work at a cellular level, getting right to the source of any issues you’re having with your skin.

Some of DermaQuest’s key ingredients include:

• Advanced plant stem cell technology – the plant stem cells protect our own skin stem cells and stimulate them to repair and become active
• Hyaluronic acid – adds volume and moisture to your skin
• Skin brighteners, such as hydroquinone – lighten the skin and improve the appearance of dark spots and freckles
• Peptides – proteins and moisture-binding agents, which are the building blocks for agents such as collagen
• Vitamin C – helps to reduce the appearance of brown spots, boosts collagen production, reduces inflammation and irritation, supports the body’s healing response, and improves your body’s defence against UV exposure
• Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) – used for moisturising, removing dead skin cells, treating acne, and improving the appearance of acne scars and sun-damaged skin
• Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA) – exfoliates your skin and removes dead skin cells
• Highest grade micronized minerals – minerals such as zinc and titanium are excellent for sun protection as they sit on top of the skin, scattering, reflecting and absorbing UVA and UVB rays
• Antioxidants – chemicals (either naturally occurring or man-made) that can prevent or slow cell damage
• Papaya-Pineapple and Pumpkin enzymes – help to remove dead skin cells and encourage skin turnover

Medik8

Medik8 is a world-renowned professional skincare brand that is widely used, recommended and endorsed by dermatologists, doctors and skin care professions.

We use Medik8 products for a selection of our in-office procedures but, like our other skincare ranges, some products are available from us for use at home.
