How does fat freezing work?
Fat freezing has been developed by a team of scientists who found that our fat cells are particularly sensitive to cold temperatures.
The CoolSculpting technology safely distributes controlled cooling on specific areas to gently but effectively target the fat cells, which then crystallise and die. These cells, over the following days, weeks and months, will then be eliminated through your lymphatic system in a completely natural way.
You can start to see noticeable changes in your treated areas within three to four weeks.

Step 1: Consultation
At Aesthetics Lab, your well-being is our top priority. We want to make sure that CoolSculpting fat removal is a safe and viable option for you. During your initial consultation, you will have the chance to talk through any questions and concerns. We will also talk through your medical history to ensure there are no contraindications.
This is the time to tell us what you want to achieve from your treatment. In discussing problem areas together, we can create a personalised treatment plan that is tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget.
Step 2: During your treatment
All CoolSculpting procedures are undertaken in our light, clean, comfortable Coolsculpting Suits. Once you are at ease on the treatment bed, the CoolSculping applicator is applied to the targeted areas upon a sterile gel pad.
The procedure begins with controlled cooling applied via suction cups. The vacuum created will secure the specified area as the temperature gradually lowers to freeze the targeted fat. You will feel a cold sensation at first, but in couple of minute time you will feel nothing but slight pulling or nipping. The area will soon numb, and the procedure is painless for most.
Typically, your treatment will last for 35 to 120 minutes, depending on the number of areas you are looking to treat. You can read, work and even watch Netflix during the procedure.
Step 3: After the treatment
After the treatment the area will feel numb to touch and the sensation may last for 3-4 days. You may experience slight redness on the treated area, which will subside within an hour or so. You may also experience mild swelling on the area, which will subside within 24 hours.
How much does CoolSculpting cost?
During your introductory consultation, your Tretament Coordinator will be able to recommend you the best treatment plan depending on the areas you wish to treat and in consideration of your budget.
The total cost of treatment will vary depending on the areas treated and the amount of local fat.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on the size and location of the areas you want to target, you may need to attend one to two CoolSculpting appointments. Some clients do decide to return for follow-up appointments to further eliminate an additional layer of fat cells, which lay beneath those originally targeted.
Does it work?
We have had excellent results and very happy clients post Coolsculpting procedures.
That said, CoolSculpting is a fat reduction procedure, not a weight loss programme, and does not guarantee weight loss.
To gain the best results from your treatment, it is recommended that you lose the excess weight before trying CoolSculpting. The procedure can then target stubborn areas of fat on the body effectively that are resilient to diet and exercise.
