What is Thermage FLX?
Thermage FLX harnesses the power of radiofrequency (RF) to encourage your skin to create new collagen. This naturally occurring protein provides strength and structure and is responsible for the firmness and elasticity of youthful skin.
If you’re experiencing issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, sagging or loose, crepey-textured skin, it’s partially due to depleted collagen levels.
Using the Thermage FLX device, we heat the deeper layers within your skin, precisely targeting where more collagen is needed. This separates the water molecules from the collagen, causing an immediate contraction that visibly tightens the treatment area. Over the next two to three months, this treatment will also stimulate the production of fresh collagen, creating greater strength so your skin continues to look smoother and more contoured.

Step 1: Consultation
The first step towards your Thermage FLX is a bespoke consultation with our Treatment Coordinators. This is an opportunity to discuss the issues you would like to address (e.g., fine lines around your eyes, a sagging jawline) and for us to rule out any possible contraindications.
Step 2: During your treatment
Radiofrequency skin tightening treatment is delivered using a handheld applicator. You will probably feel a very warm sensation when the applicator tip first touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation, designed to help protect your skin and ensure your comfort.
Step 3: After the treatment
You will find that the treated area visibly appears lifted and toned. You can resume normal activities straight away. There is no downtime, although your skin may feel warm and have a slightly flushed appearance, which should subside within an hour. You can also apply make-up straight after Thermage FLX.
How long will the results last?
Thermage FLX stimulates fresh collagen production as well as tightens the existing collagen strands in your skin. You should notice ongoing improvements to your skin tone and texture for between two to six months following a single treatment. The overall results can last for one to two years depending on your skin condition and the ageing process.
