Various rosacea treatments are available at Aesthetics Lab, depending on your needs. Our rosacea facial is one of the most popular treatment choices because it’s formulated to soothe and hydrate sensitive or reactive skin, and to significantly reduce redness or inflammation.

The secret to relieving the redness and inflammation associated with this condition is to find treatments that can be adapted to your individual needs. With the right personalised approach, it’s possible for your skin to look and feel healthy, well-hydrated and blush-free.
While there isn’t a definitive cure for rosacea, suitable treatments can help to keep the symptoms under control and bring your skin back into balance. Effective and clinically proven treatments include facials, skin peels, LED Light Therapy, IPL or Harmony Clear Skin Laser.
i-Pixel Laser Resurfacing can also help to minimise the appearance of thread veins caused by this condition and create a much-needed boost of collagen and elastin, both of which are essential to strong, healthy skin.
One of our favourite rosacea treatments is the Aesthetics Lab Rosacea Facial, which combines a gentle decongesting peel with special skincare products and facial massage techniques as well as inflammation-reducing LED Light Therapy.
Our aim is to help you reclaim your confidence and feel great about your skin. We understand how hard it can be to find solutions that actually work, so we’ve done that for you – offering treatments, protocols and leading technologies proven to reduce and control the symptoms of this challenging condition.
Before we create your treatment plan, we’ll talk to you about your skin health and daily skincare regime, as well as any specific issues, before carrying out a thorough skin assessment. This will help us to understand the extent that rosacea affects you and which symptoms we need to address.
When you have sensitive and/or reactive skin, it’s especially important to use products and treatment methods that will address the underlying problems without causing a flare-up. This is why a consultation is always the first step for rosacea treatments at Aesthetics Lab.
The nature of your treatment(s) will depend on your agreed treatment plan. You can read more about the options we might recommend on the individual treatment pages that we’ve linked to further up the page.
If you have a Rosacea Facial, we will gently cleanse your skin before applying a suitable skin peel. Typically, this will be a Mandelic or Lactic Acid Peel, formulated for sensitive skin. After several minutes, the peel will be removed.
As well as exfoliating any dead cells on the surface of your skin, the peel will penetrate deeper layers to strengthen and reinforce the underlying structure, while also healing and soothing the epidermis.
With your skin already feeling smoother and revitalised, we’ll give you a light detoxifying and draining facial massage. This is deeply relaxing and uses special techniques to maximise the effectiveness of the cosmeceutical skincare products used during this facial.
Finally, we use LED Light Therapy because it is proven to have an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory healing effect on the skin, which should reduce any signs of redness.
Again, what to expect will depend on which rosacea treatments you have. In every instance, we’ll give you clear aftercare information.
If you have a Rosacea Facial, we will apply soothing serums and sun protection to your skin at the end of the treatment.
Some people experience mild redness immediately post-treatment but, as each element has anti-inflammatory properties, you should find that the redness passes within an hour.
Your skin will look healthier immediately, but you should notice ongoing improvements, especially a reduction in any redness or inflammation.
We typically recommend that you have the Rosacea Facial every two to four weeks.
Naturally, we will look at the condition of your skin and the concerns you want to treat before giving you an individual recommendation at your consultation.
For the best results, you should follow a good skincare routine at home in between your facials at the clinic. We will discuss your needs with you and may recommend home care products ideal for your skin.
If you have sensitive or reactive skin, then this facial is likely to be an excellent treatment choice because it’s specifically formulated to target inflammation and structural damage to the skin.
Of course, we will want to see you in person and analyse your skin to be sure. If we think other rosacea treatments would be more appropriate, we’ll discuss this with you.
