This treatment takes all the benefits of microneedling and levels them up by delivering fractional radiofrequency into different layers of your skin. Treatment step-by-step

Step 1: Consultation

Before your 3D Rejuvenation treatment, you’ll have a consultation during which we’ll find out more from you about your skin concerns and goals for treatment. We’ll also conduct a thorough skin assessment and discuss your medical history and skincare.

Step 2: During your treatment

With this treatment, we use a handheld device with a single-use head containing a number of insulated, gold-plated microneedles. As we apply the device to your skin at carefully chosen areas and depths, the microneedles create tiny holes in the dermis through which we’re able to deliver the radiofrequency energy. The wounds in your skin, which are so small that they close almost instantly, trigger your body’s natural healing process – i.e., to create new skin-strengthening collagen and elastin – in addition to the skin regeneration prompted by the radiofrequency treatment.

We’re able to use the microneedles and radiofrequency within different layers of your skin, creating 3D rejuvenation rather than superficial changes.

Step 3: After the treatment

Once your treatment is finished, we’ll apply a soothing cream formulated to speed up your skin’s natural healing process.

You may find that your skin feels warm and looks slightly red immediately after your treatment; this is completely normal and should self-resolve within a few hours. You may also notice tiny puncture wounds for a day or so, but they can easily be covered with mineral makeup.

Some people see and feel improvements to their skin tone and texture almost immediately, but the most significant changes should start to be visible four to 12 weeks after treatment. This is due to the formation of new collagen and elastin, both of which are vital ingredients of firm, youthful skin.

What does the treatment feel like?

We use anaesthetic cream combined with patented ComfortFlowTM technology to make sure your treatment is as pain-free as possible. You may feel some sensation from the microneedles as they deliver energy into the dermis, and your skin may feel warm for a few hours post-treatment, but most people are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they feel throughout.

  I recently had a facial at Aesthetics Lab, and I can say that without a doubt it was the best treatment I have ever received. From the consultation which was very thorough, in which we discussed each of my concerns in depth, to the facial itself, which was incredible. I have had many facials in the past and none of them have been of this high standard. I was then recommended some products which I purchased from the clinic and have been using ever since.   Emma and the aesthetics lab team are INCREDIBLE! I very rarely write reviews, but I am so happy with my experience with Emma, that I have to! I have recently been trying to explore how to optimise my skin. This is all new to me, so I was a bit hesitant and unsure going into the process.   I have recently finished a course of Laser Hair Removal with Aesthetics Lab and could not recommend it enough , from the moment I walked in the staff were so welcoming and professional. The clinic itself is accessible, modern and exceptionally clean.
