During your semi-permanent make-up consultation, we will ensure there are no contraindications in consideration of your medical history. The appointment also provides the opportunity for you to raise any questions or concerns, which we will always endeavour to answer honestly and openly.
Much like tattooing, semi-permanent makeup treatments use a fine, sterile single-use blade to deposit pigment into the skin’s dermal layer.
Following any semi-permanent make-up procedure, you will likely experience scabbing as the treated area begins the healing process. Refrain from scratching or picking the skin. To benefit from the very best results, be sure to follow Aesthetics Lab’s aftercare advice.
This treatment is suitable for all skin tones, even tanned skin. Results will vary from person to person, but to make sure 3D rejuvenation is the right treatment for the areas you want to target, you’ll have a thorough consultation with an experienced Aesthetician. They’ll go through everything in detail with you, including your personal medical history, skincare routine, and any concerns, before recommending the right course of treatment for you.
This is largely down to the individual. A local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area, but you may still initially experience some level of discomfort. This will ease as the area numbs.
Semi-permanent make-up is not advised for those who are pregnant or nursing.
